Driver Installation for Windows 2000
If you haven’t already, start your computer. 1.
NOTE: Do not click Cancel at any time during
the installation process. Doing so will prevent
your driver from being properly installed on
your PC.
Windows 2000 will automatically detect the Adapter 2.
connected to your computer. When the Welcome to the
Found New Hardware Wizard screen appears, insert the
Driver CD into the CD-ROM drive. Then click the Next
button.
Select 3. Search for a suitable driver for my device
(recommended). Click the Next button.
Install Hardware Device Drivers
Select 4. Specify a location to find the correct driver.
Click the Next button to continue.
Locate Driver Files
NOTE: Throughout this user guide, it is assumed
that “D” is the letter of your CD-ROM drive.
In the 5. Copy manufacturer’s files from: field, enter
D:\win2000. Then click the OK button.
Ready to Install Driver
The 6. Driver Files Search Results screen will appear. Click
the Next button.
For Windows 2000, you may be informed that a digital 7.
signature has not been found. This is normal, and it
has been verified that the Adapter does work with
Windows 2000. Click the Yes button to continue.
