4 LightStream 2020 Upgrade to Dual Power Cords

Replacing the Power Trays

Step 1 Go to the rear of the chassis and attach your grounding wrist strap to the ESD jack at the

right side of the rear panel.

Step 2 Remove the power cord from the power inlet indicated in Figure 1.

Step 3 Use the phillips screwdriver to attach the metal cover plate (from the kit) over the main

power switch and power inlet (see Figure 1).

Step 4 Use the slot-tip screwdriver to loosen the retaining screws on the power tray (see Figure 2),

then remove the power tray. If you have two power trays, remove the second tray as well.

Step 5 Install the new power trays, using the slot-tip screwdriver to tighten the retaining screws.

Step 6 Plug in the new power trays. Use the power cord you removed in Step 1 for one power tray

and the new cord included in the upgrade kit for the other power tray.
