8 280-Watt AC-Input Power Supply Replacement Instructions

Removing and Replacing the AC-Input Power Supply

To disconnect AC-input power to Cisco 7200 series routers, complete the following steps:

Step 1 Unplug the input power cable from the power source.

Step 2 Push down on the cable-retention clip that secures the input power cable to the router’s

power supply.

Step 3 Unplug the other end of the input power cable from the power supply. (See Figure 2.)

This completes the procedure for disconnecting AC-input power.

Removing the AC-Input Power Supply

To remove the AC-input power supply from Cisco 7200 series routers, complete the following steps:

Step 1 Using a number 2 Phillips or a 3/16-inch, ﬂat-blade screwdriver loosen the two captive

screws on the faceplate of the power supply. (See Figure 3.)
