Video Transceiver - Model UTP-1

The Vision Security Solutions UTP-1P Video Transceiver is a passive (non-amplified) device

that allows the transmission of real-time monochrome or color video over Unshielded Twisted-

Pair (UTP) telephone wire. Baseband (composite) signals of any type are supported.

The UTP-1P features a Screw-less UTP terminal block and Male BNC allowing connection di-

rectly to the camera or DVR. It is capable of delivering a fully equalized signal to the DVR when

used with any UTP Receiver, yet is compatible with all of Vision Security’s passive products for

applications under 1000ft (225m). The SI-UTP-1P Video Transceiver also incorporates new im-

proved transient protection that eliminates the need for a ground screw.

The unparalleled interference rejection and low emissions of the UTP-1P allow video signals to

co-exist in the same wire bundle as telephone, data com, or low-voltage power circuits. This al-

lows the use of a shared or existing cable plant. The UTP-1P is UL and CUL listed and CE

compliant.
