Once the recording is complete, this data is transferred to a so-called

channel in the SWITCHcast server. The producer can also transfer

do this, he/she must observe the SWITCHcast video import formats.

The recordings can be stored in the channels. Channels have to be paid

for and can be created via the SWITCHcast Server. SWITCHaai-

authenticated end users (subsequently "owners") are authorised to create

new open channels on the SWITCHcast server.

A lot of effort has been put in to ensure that the administrator of the tool is happy with the system

(federated AAI, statistics, management, etc). If one is not satisfied with the default AAI settings, it is

possible to use an API. An external validation entity can also be hooked up, or it can go through
