Redundant call paths for inbound calls require the following statement. The IOS default is too large and

allows for a timeout before searching for the second peer (preference 1).

Redundant call paths for outbound calls are handled by the Communication Manager. Communications

Manager will route outbound calls based on the calling phones Calling Search Space (CSS). Each

device assigned CSS provides for a primary and secondary path for outbound calls. The times that

identify the primary path as unavailable were modified on the Communications Manager. The following

values were modified in the Communications Manager Service Parameters.
