Note When interface LEDs are on, the interface ports may not be functional or enabled.

Although the LEDs for many interface types might turn on at system startup, they

do not indicate an accurate status until the interface is configured.

Note If the system does not complete this verification process, see Chapter 5,

“Troubleshooting the Installation.”
