Special input and output queues on ports for STP
Special CPU queues and CPU handling for STP
All links are full-duplex and collision free—a BPDU send will always get
received
Do not span a VLAN across too many switches
Not even the management VLAN
No need to use a single management VLAN for the
entire topology
