Qwest’s solution to SED Set #50, Video Teleconferencing Service

(VTS), is presented below.

Qwest’s solution to SED Set #50 is to provide a Polycom VSX 8000

Series package. This package is supplemented with equipment from Adtran,

Crestron, Extron, ElectroGraph, JBL, TOA, ClearOne, Wolfvision, Sony, and

MAP.

The Polycom VSX 8000 is an Executive Collection Floor System

specially designed for organizations seeking top-of-the-line performance and

design for conference rooms, not limited to being permanently mounted on

the wall.

The VSX 8000 system combines the leading video conferencing and

collaboration capabilities of the VSX 8000 with a single 50-inch, high-

resolution plasma monitor and a high-fidelity audio system, integrated into a

sleek, stylish stand that houses the codec and audio sound system.

The 50-inch (127 cm) plasma displays deliver high resolution (1366 x

768), high contrast, high brightness, and a 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio

format. The VSX 8000 system’s high fidelity audio system delivers 270 watts

of total power, with a high-efficiency amplifier, subwoofer, and two satellite

speakers, specially designed for expansive environments where voice, video,
