 Define policing objects/traffic-classes using class-

maps

- Pre-defined class-maps: L2/L3 control packets

- User-defined class-maps: L2/L3 forwarded packets

class using policy-map

- Rate and burst size

- Conforming and exceeding actions

 Apply the service-policy to control-plane in a similar

way as applying service-policy to an interface
