To remove an entity, the same identiﬁcation parameters are needed. Perform the following task beginning in

TN3270 DLUR conﬁguration mode:

Commands Allowed in Multiple Modes

The following commands are valid in TN3270 conﬁguration mode or in either variation of PU conﬁguration

mode:

• generic-pool {permit | deny}

• idle-time seconds

• ip precedence {screen | printer} value

• ip tos {screen | printer} value

• keepalive seconds

• shutdown

• tcp-port port-number

• unbind-action {keep | disconnect}

Values entered in PU conﬁguration mode overridesettings made in TN3270 conﬁguration mode. In addition, the

no form of these commands entered in PU conﬁguration mode will restore the command value entered in

TN3270 command mode.

Configuring the TN3270 Server

This section describes how to conﬁgure TN3270 Server support on the CIP and CPA for the following:

• Conﬁguring Multiple APPN Hosts

• Conﬁguring Non-APPN Hosts

Not all tasks are required.

Note: The TN3270 Server is conﬁgured on the virtual interface, which is port 2 of a CIP or CPA.

Conﬁguring Multiple APPN Hosts

When the host site uses APPN and the TN3270 Server can reach multiple mainframe hosts, we recommend that

you use DLUR and conﬁgure your PUs under DLUR by performing the following tasks:

• Conﬁguring SNA Support

• Initiating the TN3270 Server

• Conﬁguring IP Precedence and ToS Support (Optional)

• Conﬁguring DLUR Parameters
