Cisco Small Business Voice Systems
Product Positioning
The Cisco Small Business Voice System is a cost-effective way to provide basic
and advanced voice services for the small business It is designed to enable Voice
over IP (VoIP) for offices with up to 16 IP phones
The Cisco Small Business Voice System delivers basic, reliable connectivity right
out of the box Its three major components can be customized to fit most small
business requirements:
• The Cisco SPA9000 Voice System is the call control portion of the system,
providing routing of calls throughout the voice network
• The Cisco SPA400 Internet Telephony Gateway provides a connection between
the voice network and the public switched telephone network (PSTN) Voice mail
will be provided for the business by the Cisco SAP400
• Based on the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), the Cisco Small Business IP
Phones are designed to interoperate in different environments, including a hosted
IP telephony service, an IP private branch exchange (PBX), or a large-scale IP
Centrex deployment
