The following example conﬁgures a session target using DNS, with the optional $e$. wildcard. In

this example, the destination pattern has been conﬁgured for 12345. The optional wildcard $e$.

indicates that the router will reverse the digits in the destination pattern, add periods between the

digits, and then use this reverse-exploded destination pattern to identify the dial peer in the

“cisco.com” domain.
