In multisite WAN deployments, the goal is to have dynamic call routing that
enables voice traffic between sites to use the IP WAN as the primary path and the
PSTN as the secondary path if the IP WAN is down or has insufficient resources
to handle additional voice calls. Figure 6-4 illustrates this type of dynamic call
routing.
